Pillion trailer sees Alexander Skarsgård and Harry Melling enter a Dom/sub relationship

Harry Lighton’s tender, funny, and steamy debut Pillion sees Alexander Skarsgård and Harry Melling both in one of their best performances yet — and there’s a new trailer out today.

Melling is an absolute delight as demure parking ticket enforcement officer Colin, who meets outrageously burly and handsome biker Ray (an outstanding Skarsgård) on Christmas Eve. As Colin and Ray enter a Dom/sub relationship, we join them navigating kink and boundaries — and attempting to explain them to Colin’s parents.

As Siddhant Adlakha writes for Mashable in his review, “Led by a pair of fine-tuned performances from Alexander Skarsgård and Harry Melling, the movie walks a fragile tonal tightrope with remarkable flair, resulting in one of the finest (and most crowd-pleasing) experiences at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.”

Written by Lighton and Adam Mars-Jones, based on the latter’s novel Box Hill, Pillion promises to sweep you off your feet and into submissive mode with ongoing consent.

Pillion hits cinemas in February after showing at the BFI London Film Festival and New York Film Festival.
